Governance Insights for Clerks

Termly Briefing sessions for Governance Professionals/Clerks to meet with other like-minded people and receive national and local updates that will impact their governance administration.  These online sessions will provide opportunities to network with colleagues to learn, share and improve their practice.

What do Governance Insight for Clerks Sessions include?

Governance Insight sessions for governance professionals / clerks are held three times per year at the beginning of each term.  Each online facilitated briefing will include:

• Updates on national legislation and local information;

• The latest thinking on governance and interesting governance news;

• What’s on the Agenda - planning for the term ahead;

• Topical presentation from a subject specialist;

• The opportunity to network with peers and share best practice;

• Share and repair: helping to fix your governance challenges with the insight of others and Shaping Governance;

• Access to  a dedicated FaceBook Group for Governance Professionals and Clerks (only for schools that purchase the whole academic year)

• All attendees will receive a post-event pack that includes the presentations used, a draft agenda for the forthcoming term, and other information used in the briefing.
